first i had the problem ACF-fields are not showing up in catergory-description. Now elementor updates to the new beta 1.6.X – now ACF-Fields are showing the category description but not in Post-Loops. Any ideas?

Somewhat similar experience today:
ACF-fields setting not getting filled from costum post when designing a new archive for category of costum posts.
Will show fallback text defined in theme, but not the actual content of fields, neither text, nor images.
Perhaps a version rollback is in order?
New Archive Widget will pull data from custom fields, but don’t offer detailed control over post representation.
Its a feature – not a bug. Upon further inquiry it would seem that using ACF-fields in an archive was never an option. That works for singles, but not for archives. I was misremembering early use of ACF-fields as use for archives, but it was (in my experience) ever only possible in singles. Perhaps at a later date, as I’m sure that the Elementor Pro team have their hands full at present.

Description
Add an Elementor Countdown Widget to your page. The due date is now set from the ACF Field instead of the option in the Elementor Builder interface. Note: This plugin only affects the rendering of the countdown widget on the front end. It does not add dynamic date support to the countdown widget in the Elementor builder interface. Elementor with ACF & CPT Elementor (without dynamic content) All these options serve different purposes with their respective pros and cons. Elementor has definitely been trending in requests we have received over the last year, but it may not be the right fit for your approach with clients.
This is a simple plugin that fixes one of the main issues with the Elementor Countdown Widget; the inability to dynamically set the due date with an ACF Field.
The plugin takes an ACF datetime field and makes it the due date for the Elementor Countdown Widget.
How to use:
Create a Date Time Picker field in ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
Make sure the output of the datetime field is set to: Y-m-d H:i:s (it’s the last option before “Custom”)
Copy the Field Name of the field you just created.
Paste the Field Name of the field you just created into the input in the DCEA Settings Page.
Click on “Save Changes”.
